Coffee Cocktails & Mocktails: 4 Recipes to Sip After Hours

At Sip Happens Coffee Works, we firmly believe your coffee deserves a spotlight long after the sun goes down. Whether you’re winding down with friends or skipping the booze but still want something special, these cocktails and mocktails will turn your coffee into the life of the party.


1. Espresso Martini (Classic Glow-Up)

Smooth, bold, and just the right amount of fancy.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka

  • 1 oz coffee liqueur

  • 1 shot espresso (freshly brewed Sip Happens After Hours roast)

  • Ice

  • Coffee beans (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Add vodka, liqueur, and espresso to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until chilled and frothy.

  3. Strain into a martini glass.

  4. Garnish with 3 coffee beans (because that’s tradition, and we’re classy like that).


2. Cold Brew Mojito Mocktail

A refreshing twist that proves coffee and mint do get along.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cold brew

  • ½ cup sparkling water

  • 1 Tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tsp simple syrup (or more to taste)

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Ice

Directions

  1. Muddle mint and lime juice in a glass.

  2. Add ice and pour in cold brew.

  3. Top with sparkling water.

  4. Sweeten with syrup and stir.

  5. Sip, chill, repeat.


3. Spiked Iced Caramel Latte

Your dessert and nightcap all in one.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup iced coffee

  • 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream (or similar)

  • 1 oz caramel syrup

  • Milk or cream

  • Whipped cream + caramel drizzle

Directions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.

  2. Stir together iced coffee, Baileys, and caramel syrup.

  3. Add milk or cream to taste.

  4. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.

  5. Cheers to sweet endings.


4. Coffee Old Fashioned (Mocktail or Cocktail)

Because classics never go out of style.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz strong brewed coffee (Sip Happens dark roast)

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 2 dashes bitters

  • Orange peel twist

  • (Optional: 1 oz bourbon if you’re going full cocktail)

Directions

  1. In a glass, stir brown sugar with hot coffee until dissolved.

  2. Add bitters and let cool slightly.

  3. Fill with ice and stir again.

  4. Garnish with an orange peel twist.

  5. Sip slow—this one’s about the vibe.
